Close to the famous St George Castle and Alfama, there are plenty of activities to choose from. St George’s castle was occupied from at least the 8th century and as such is a true historical gem right in the centre of Lisbon whose turrets should certainly be explored.

The Alfama district is one of Lisbon’s oldest and as such, the streets are lined with shops selling traditional crafts and cute cafes perfect for a morning coffee. In the evening, Fado music will almost certainly reach you as some of the city’s oldest Fado restaurants are located here.


The apartment itself however is modern, bright and inviting; the perfect 1 bed for a couple or individual visiting the city.

Traditional tile flooring juxtaposes with contemporary art and large windows offer amazing views out over the city. A dining table with room for 6 has a modern overhanging light fixture above it to create the ideal vibe. The dining room leads on to a cosy sitting room, with an L-shaped sofa, ruffly rug on the floor and TV. To the side of this are some floor to ceiling French windows which open on to a balcony which gives breath-taking views that cannot be beaten. On the balcony, chairs are set up, offering the ideal place for morning tea or evening cocktail. The bedroom next door has a replica set of doors, leading onto the same balcony. The furnishings in here are white and rattan, creating a fresh feeling upon entering, and light sheds onto the bed from the large windows at its end. The bathroom features tiling work throughout, plus a modern painting on the wall to keep up the vibe of the rest of the apartment.

There is a modern kitchenette with everything you could need to rustle up a delicious meal.
