This beautifully renovated villa is located at the Penina Golf Resort close to Portimão and Alvor. The large rooms, private pool and barbeque area make this an excellent place to spend your Algarve holidays. The views over the golf course are a nice bonus.
Ground floor:
On the ground floor, you will find a large family-style kitchen, living room, dining area, two large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a home office/study. The bedrooms here both have 2 single beds (which can be pushed together to create a double bed) and one bathroom features a bathtub. In the living room, there is a sofa bed, which can sleep an extra 2 people (recommended for kids only). Through the glass doors in the living room, you enter the outdoor pool and relaxing area. There are sunbeds, an outdoor shower, outdoor dining and barbecue area to enjoy.
First floor:
On the first floor, you will find the master bedroom with a large en-suite bathroom and a walk-in closet/dressing room. The bedroom also has a sitting area with sofa bed, which can sleep an extra 2 people (recommended for kids only). Through the glass doors, you will find a large sun balcony where you can sit and enjoy the views over the pool area and golf course.

There was a small issue with two AC units, but the house manager sorted it quickly. Mid-stay towel change and clean were much appreciated however a change of bedding would’ve been nice too. The villa is stunning, the hosts were excellent.

Only downsides were the bins being a 45-min round trip (bikes might help!) and the awning over the outdoor dining area wasn’t working during our visit, so we weren’t able to use that space as much as we’d have liked. We did report this, and hopefullysee more

That said, these are relatively small things in what was otherwise a truly wonderful holiday home.

Last but not least, the host(s) were extremely responsive and could not have been better about communicating with any help we needed along the way. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The private pool was a standout feature—clean, well-sized, and perfect for both swimming and lounging. Inside, the villa is beautifully furnished, with comfortable bedrooms and a truly exceptional kitchen that’s better equipped than most homes. It made cooking a real pleasure.
