Tavira Whispering Villa is a heritage retreat lovingly restored from a 1920s estate, once gifted as a wedding present from the Silva Gomes family. Set between orange groves and the sea, it offers guests a beautifully atmospheric stay in the heart of the Barrocal Algarvio. The villa features six en-suite bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed with preserved heirlooms, soft natural materials, and historic charm. One suite includes a private patio and a cosy lounge, while three others open onto outdoor sitting areas. The remaining two bedrooms are nestled inside the original farmhouse. Throughout the home, Atelier RUA has woven vintage furnishings, photographs, and books into the design, keeping the soul of the house alive in every corner. And for larger gatherings or multi-family escapes, Tavira Whispering Villa can be rented together with its neighbouring property, Country Vintage House. Together, these two homes offer a unique countryside compound where time slows, nature takes centre stage, and every stay becomes a story worth telling.

A year-round heated pool invites relaxing swims, while shaded terraces and tucked-away garden corners create a peaceful setting for reading or reflection. Mornings begin with delicious breakfasts served alfresco, and guests can gather around a long dining table for shared meals in the open air.
