The stunning historic Tavira Whispering Villa features 6 en suite bedrooms.

One of these rooms boasts a private patio and a cosy living area. In addition to this room, 3 others have private sitting areas outside the bedrooms, while the remaining 2 are located inside the original farmhouse.

Originally owned by the Silva Gomes family, this small rural farm was established in 1920 as a wedding gift for the owner's only daughter and remained operational until 1970. After lying dormant for 40 years, the house's furniture, photographs, clothing, and books have been thoughtfully incorporated into the restoration project by Atelier Rua, preserving memories of its affluent past.

Guests can indulge in the hotel's scrumptious breakfasts or enjoy snacks prepared for afternoons by the pool (heated in the winter).

Additional features of this special property include tuk tuk tours to beaches, historical cities, mountains, dinners (available by prior order), horseback riding on the beach and in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, massages, pool snacks, the opportunity to engage in activities involving donkeys, such as bathing, brushing, and feeding (all upon request).

The surrounding area is the Barrocal Algarvio region. This lesser-known part of the Algarve, enveloped by orchards of orange, fig, almond, strawberry, and carob trees, the property is situated between the historic city of Tavira and the picturesque village of Cacela Velha, merely 1.5 km from the Ria Formosa and its famously deserted beaches.

Jeremias, the donkey is the pension's devoted guardian and companion, keeps a watchful eye on the guests.
