Originally dating from the end of the 19th Century, the castle was recently restored by architect Manuel Aires Matteus, maintaining its original charm, but with a modern finish.
The lawned gardens complete with a heated plunge pool and breathtaking views of the Atlantic coastline, are the perfect setting for long lunches, with glorious sea breezes keeping you cool and the sound of the waves crashing on the beach below.
The wrap-around veranda, with the same mesmerizing views, is the perfect spot for breakfast or for escaping with a good book. Stone steps lead you directly down from the garden to the small sandy beach from where you can enjoy a swim in the crystal clear waters. Inside, there are 8 beautifully decorated ensuite double bedrooms, flooded with natural light and sea views.
