We offer you an eco-friendly luxury villa for 10 people with stunning ocean views in the heart of the Algarve.
Overlooking the ocean, this luxury villa near Carvoeiro called Casa Mú is a modern oasis of peace and quietness. Surrounded by nature, just minutes from town and the Algarve’s most stunning beaches Praia da Marinha and Praia da Benagil, Casa Mú allows guests to enjoy local life in a private haven away from the crowded spots.
By the use of natural materials such as wood, natural stone and concrete floors (heated in winter) the villa breathes an understated luxury. The furniture and wardrobes are handmade of recycled wood and create an eco-chic design. The white marble kitchen top comes from the Alentejo. Plates and dishes were locally sourced and made by Portuguese craftsmen.
The long white villa is constructed with stylish simplicity. As a recyclable light steel frame with highly isolated walls, the house is built with a strong focus on sustainability. Solar panels heat the water and the building. All wastewater is biologically purified and reused in the garden.
It’s a perfect relaxing retreat to share with family and friends. The villa has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, one with bath, all with walk-in showers. Huge kitchen windows open to the pool area and the outdoor dining table.
Indoor and outdoor living become one. The fully equipped kitchen with its large cooking island and inviting bar stools look onto the rural surroundings and offers magnificent views over the ocean. Lounge beds and beanbags around the pool are ideal to relax, or just hang out and enjoy holidays in the sun.
As we exclusively manage the villa, and are based in Carvoeiro we are always near to assist :-)

Casa Mu is a beautiful home with zen like qualities and an expansive view. We were staying at the house during the black out. Matthijs reached out to us while the cell towers were still live and came by to open the gates manually so we could get backsee more
Casa Mu is a beautiful home with zen like qualities and an expansive view. We were staying at the house during the black out. Matthijs reached out to us while the cell towers were still live and came by to open the gates manually so we could get back to the house. Yannick stopped by later in the day to give us updates. The home has a Big Green egg and we had bought charcoal the day we arrived so we were able to cook dinner. Thankfully power was down for only a short time. Casa Mu has one of the best equipped kitchens I’ve ever seen in a rental. We bought oranges and limes from a roadside stand and made fresh juice using the electric juicer. Beds are super comfortable and bathrooms well equipped. I would suggest bringing bar soap for the shower. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of room to hang out both inside and outside the house. The pool is not heated, but I did go in. A bit bracing, but not too cold. For food shopping, go to Apolonia in Lagoa. Great store that has all you need

The villa is super nice with a breathtaking view, no neighbors. We loved spending Christmas Eve with the family, thanks to the many floor-to-ceiling windows, the house is ultra bright, even in winter. Lots of kitchen supplies provided to prepare goodsee more

We loved spending Christmas Eve with the family, thanks to the many floor-to-ceiling windows, the house is ultra bright, even in winter. Lots of kitchen supplies provided to prepare good meals. Super nice summer kitchen and barbecue. The petanque court is a great thing! In short, we where enjoying everything. Including the quiet location in the countryside while being close to the most beautiful beaches and shops.

This was probably one of the BEST AirB&B’s we’ve ever stayed at! We LOVED our time at Matthijs’s house. It was perfection – peaceful, serene and spacious with the most stunning views. We felt like we were in a dream house and we cannot wait to visit see more

We had a great stay at Casa Mú. The house was exactly as it looks in the pictures. The house is equipped very well with everything you need & the communication with Matthijs and the team very easy, nice & fast. We could always reach them if we had a see more

We had a great stay here! It’s a bit tricky to find if you’re using Uber/Bolt, but definitely worth the stay. The house is beautiful and clean. The location is a bit away from town, but still close enough for us to explore what we wanted in the Algarsee more

If you go to stay here I’d recommend a car if you want to do lots of exploring as not close to much, however beautiful walks nearby and the villa was so beautiful and amazing this did not bother us. The bins were quite far away so we struggled with this and our Bolt driver was very angry about taking us there, so keep this in mind! Great stay, beautiful villa, great hosts.

My group of 8 stayed in the villa in June. The villa was amazing, very modern, and clean. The location was good, but we needed to get an Uber to most locations. We walked to the beach one day, and that took around 30 minutes. The pool was a great sizsee more
My group of 8 stayed in the villa in June. The villa was amazing, very modern, and clean. The location was good, but we needed to get an Uber to most locations. We walked to the beach one day, and that took around 30 minutes. The pool was a great size, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Not all rooms had air-con, so some of us got quite warm at night. There were also some ants, and some wasps around the decking, but none of them gave us problems. The views were amazing, and it felt very private. It’s also gated, so it felt very secure. I would definitely recommend this villa and host. We had a fantastic holiday.
