Located in Sintra, more specifically, Colares, the Quinta da Oliveira villa is traditionally Portuguese with contemporary updates, mixing traditional Portuguese charm with a modern touch, to create the perfect villa.
Boasting exquisite views over the Portuguese countryside, the Quinta da Oliveira is surrounded by nature. The open-plan living space has glass walls that slide open, leading onto the beautiful grounds.
The interiors of the living space combine white and cream furnishings with multi-coloured rugs and throw cushions in burnt orange and red hues. A flat-screen TV is positioned opposite two spacious sofas. The sitting area leads onto a rustic wooden dining table with space for the whole party, which in turn, leads to the kitchen area.
The kitchen features another dining table, with overhanging lights and all the amenities one could wish for. Again, the combination of cream, reds and oranges combine to create a cosy effect.
Upstairs, the bedrooms are done in crisp whites, with plenty of light and the comfiest of bedding. The bathrooms are modern and luxurious, featuring overhead lighting, sleek marble sinks, walk-in power showers and the master bedroom is ensuite. There is a hallway with extensive hanging space. Also, there is a study with a sofa bed and a guest bathroom with a shower.
The villa sits on 2 hectares of garden, which guests are free to roam around and explore. There is ample parking space for cars and a cleaning service is offered once a week.
The grounds are stunning, the infinity pool stretches seemingly forever and has breathtaking views. The pool is surrounded by wooden terracing and has sunbeds for the whole party. There is also an outdoor dining table. A pretty covered walkway is located in the garden, providing the perfect place for a romantic evening stroll. It is important to note that the grass roof terrace garden is potentially dangerous for smaller children, meaning that this villa requires a safety disclaimer to be signed, should you travel with children.
